Dr. Mindbender created the Cyber-Vipers because he needed two things: intelligent soldiers who could handle his highly dangerous, bio-engineering operations laboratory, AND keep the genetically enhanced Mega-Monsters under control. The Cyber-Vipers do both. They are first-rate fighters with evil brains enhanced by Dr. Mindbender himself. They are half-man and half-robot, and both halves form one tough enemy for the Mega-Marines to fight. These cybernetic troopers help control the top-level command operations for the Mega-Monsters and are responsible for initiating their destructive attacks. They are the guardians of monsters, the overseers of doom.
